My first wedding of 2013 could not have been more perfect. The wedding was at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster, PA.

Ashley and Travis were so fun to work with. The weather was not fully cooperating on their wedding day but that did not stop Ashley. She was doing photos outside no matter what, and I loved it.

The mist made the nighttime shots so beautiful. I love that you can see the mist in those 2 photos.

Riverdale Manor is one of the nicest wedding venues I have seen in Central PA. I can’t wait to photograph another wedding at this amazing location.

Last Saturday I headed back up to Riverdale Manor in Lancaster, PA for the wedding of Ashley and Travis.

They had me bring my Party Cam, which is an open air style photo booth. The guests loved it, the bridal party loved it, the staff loved it, and most importantly, the bride and groom loved it.

I recently had a request from a bride. She wanted to see some of the photos I had taken at weddings from The West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill. I figured I would do a blog post on it to share with everyone.

Weddings at The West Shore Country Club are always amazing. The grounds are spectacular, the ballroom is beautiful and makes the perfect location for a wedding reception, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is happy. It is one of my favorite places to photograph in all of Central PA.

My absolute favorite series of photos were taken in about 5 minutes near this amazing willow tree. As soon as I saw that tree, I knew that these photos were going to be something special. Jen and Jason made them even more amazing by being who they are. There was no posing……..they were simply just enjoying their day. I love these images…

Here are a few photos from Stephanie and Adam’s engagement session in Elizabethtown, PA. I am very excited to be their wedding photographer.

Fall was almost over when we found time to photograph their engagement session, but we lucked out and found this one small grove of trees. To me, that is one of the fun things about being a wedding photographer. I love showing up to a location and finding the little pockets of light that many people would drive right by. There is beautiful light with complimentary backgrounds just about anywhere as long as you are looking. As a wedding photographer, it is my job to find those little hidden gems.

Photographing a wedding at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York is always an awesome experience.  The grounds are beautiful and they are a real treat for any wedding photographer.

Wedding ceremonies at Heritage Hills are picture perfect. You are right there, overlooking the beautiful golf course and trees. Then for the wedding reception, you move into this round room with huge windows. If you are lucky enough to be in there before the sun goes down, the natural light that fills this room is simply stunning. As a wedding photographer, I get excited every singe time that I get to produce wedding photos from this awesome location.

Photographing a wedding at The Peter Allen House in Central PA is one of my absolute favorite things I get to do as a wedding photographer. The Peter Allen House is located in Dauphin, PA. Wedding photos from this gorgeous venue are always picture perfect.

One of the things that makes the Peter Allen House so amazing as a wedding venue (for me), is it’s beautiful landscape. A lot of people do not know this about me, but I started my photography career as a landscape/nature photographer in CA. When I first stepped onto the property of The Peter Allen House, I was blown away by how beautiful the grounds were. Add in an amazing historic house, and two of the nicest owners you will ever meet (Frank and Barbara), and there you have yourself the perfect wedding venue. This wedding from The Civic Club of Harrisburg was one of my favorites of 2012. I was very excited when Premier Bride asked to publish this wedding in their bridal magazine.

Having a wedding featured in Susquehanna Style is always a treat. This particular wedding was photographed at The Barn at Manor View which is part of The Country Barn and Manor View Inn in Lancaster, PA.

Andrea and Paul’s DIY wedding was simply stunning. Andrea did an amazing job with the details. I absolutely loved the upside down umbrellas and white lights that she put in the barn.
