This show is going to amazing and I hope to meet some awesome people this weekend.

C&J Catering will be putting on a VIP experience like you have never seen before.

This year’s VIP Experience will include fresh gourmet samples – sweet and savory – prepared fresh on site by the Executive Chef of C&J catering. Their fantastic mixologist will perk up your coffee or create custom drinks before your eyes! Brides will also see how their idea boards can evolve into concepts, and ultimately into reality. Giveaways, prizes and guest vendors will be “leaked” as the Wedding Show approaches! Come experience the Perfect Wedding World – from event design to fresh florals, custom menus and fresh, delicious desserts made in house, they’re not JUST a catering company. They do it all for you – the Bride!

Remember VIP tickets are limited and you can only purchase them in advance.

AACA will also be bringing back the cake dive with over $10,000 in prizes.

In addition to the dozens and dozens of amazing prizes being given away at the AACA Wedding Show this Sunday, one lucky bride will go home with a new Louis Vuitton handbag containing another top secret prize we promise will be just as exiting as the day you said “yes”. You do not want to miss this

The VIP hours are 10am until 4pm.

Regular show hours are 11am until 4pm.

Last month I had the privilege of photographing my very first wedding at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster, PA. This place was gorgeous. The grounds were perfect for a wedding photographer. There was not really a bad place to take a photo. I can’t wait to go back to this amazing location.

Kristan and Jason had their ceremony and reception at Riverdale and the weather was beautiful.

Photographing this wedding for Jessica and Travis was so much fun. I loved the light for their first dance. It was natural window light only. For one of the photos, I used the window to backlight them and for the other, I simply  put the window at my back and watched the soft light wrap around them. This gorgeous wedding was at Heritage Hills in York, PA.

Welcome to Thomas Beaman Photography. I am keeping this blog post at the top of the page because I want new visitors to learn who I am without having to scroll through pages of archives.

While I am experienced with many different styles of photography, I specialize in wedding day storytelling. I love telling the unique story of a wedding using images with emotion and expression.

Couples spend over a year planning their wedding and I make sure to pay attention to every single detail and photograph them in an artistic way.

I love keeping portrait sessions between the bride & groom, bridal party and families very relaxed. I want the true personalities of my clients to show in these photographs. I want you to look back at these images in 20 years and say “that was so us!”

I take pride in my ongoing photography education which is why I am a member of WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International). I take 3-4 workshops every year to keep my photography skills polished. I also take 2-3 workshops on photo editing. I attend at least 1 major trade show each year to keep current on the latest products.

I have won a few awards in the past 2 years including Simply The Best 2011 for Wedding Photography in Harrisburg Magazine. I also won The Knot 2011 Best of Weddings and awards for Brides Choice on Weddingwire for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

I have had weddings published in The Knot, Susquehanna Style, Wedding Style and Premier Bride.
